Making a Booking

Provisional bookings

Provisional bookings may be made by telephone / fax / online or email / or by post. These must be confirmed in writing (including a purchase order number) within 10 working days.

Firm bookings

Firm bookings must be accompanied by payment in full or a purchase order. Bookings are taken in the order that they are received. Firm bookings are given priority over provisional bookings.

Confirmation

We will normally send you written confirmation within five days of receiving your payment. Full joining instructions will normally be sent approximately 14 days in advance of the course start date. If joining instructions have not be received less than 10 days before the start of the course please contact us (020 88730976).

Payment

Payment must be received in advance of the start of the training course unless agreed in writing by Assured Safety & Health Ltd. We will invoice you upon request. Where an invoice is issued by us either alone or in connection with a purchase order, payment is due by return.

We will allow up to 28 days for processing but payment must be received before the start of the training, therefore it is essential to consider this when issuing purchase orders.

Payment can be made in the following ways:

  • electronic bank transfer (e.g. BACS)
  • cheque

Late Payment

Please note we withold the right to charge interest and any costs incurred in regard to late payments. Such payment may attract interest at 8% above the statutory rate.

  • Changes in arrangements
  • Changes made by you
  • Transfers and Substitutions - Transfers can be made up to 21 days before the start of the course. Transfers must be to the same course, are subject to availability of places and must be within six months of the initial booking. Where a transfer is agreed with us, it must be to the same course, subject to availability of places, and must be within 6 months of the initial booking. Requests for transfer must be received in writing and are effective from the date we receive the written request. You will be liable for any costs incurred for accommodation and training materials we may have provided /reserved for you.
  • Substitutions - We are happy to allow substitutions to facilitate your needs. Please give us as much notice as possible.
  • Cancellations - Occassionally a place may have to be cancelled. This will incur a cost as per table 1.
  • Telephone cancellations can be accepted . Any cancellation must be followed immediately in writing (email / fax / post)

Changes made by us

While we make every effort to ensure that courses are run as advertised, on occasion, and due to circumstances beyond our control we may have to change the venue, location or dates at any time and without prior notice from that published.

In these cases should you wish to cancel your booking we will be to offer a full refund or a priority transfer to a later date.

We understand how frustrating this can be for you and will only do this when or if it is absolutely necessary, but reserve the right to do so.

Liability

  • Cancellation by Assured Safety & Health.
  • Liability for a course cancelled by us is limited to the provision of a further training course.
  • Assured Safety & Health is not liable for any consequential loss or costs associated with the cancellation of the training course.

Printed course notes are included in the course fees. Course literature is copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
